Bravecto-1 Month Chew prevents and treats fleas and treats and controls ticks in dogs and puppies. It is a flavored monthly chew that starts killing fleas within 4 hours and is effective against 4 species of ticks within 48 hours of administration.
This oral preventive is indicated for treating and controlling flea infestations and controls tick infestations of Black-legged ticks, American dog ticks, and Brown dog ticks in dogs and puppies of 8 weeks of age and weighing 4.4 lbs or more. It is also indicated for treatment and control of Lone Star tick, in dogs and puppies aged older than 6 months and weighing 4.4 lbs or more.
How Does it Work?
Bravecto-1 Month Chew contains an active ingredient- Fluralaner, which affects the nervous system of the parasites by inhibiting the action of GABA receptors, a neurotransmitter. This results in the paralysis of the parasite. The chew has 100% efficacy against fleas and ≥97.7% efficacy against 4 species of ticks.
Follow the dosage schedule given below, according to your dog’s body weight, to provide a minimum of 4.5 mg/lb (10 mg/kg) fluralaner dosage
