Therefore, push the pill into a chunk of canned dog food as it will cover the taste of the pill. By doing this your dog will be less likely to notice the pill in the food.

So, you can make tasty pill pockets by peanut butter, milk, and flour or you can also prepare chicken-flavored pill pockets to make the task of administering pills way easier.

This is a super easy trick that doesn’t involve any device to make your pet take his pills. It’s just that a pet parent needs to know their pooch. When you know all about your pet, you can surely figure out when he is happy or in a good mood, which can be a great advantage for you. The chicken hearts or turkey hearts for dogs provides a natural opening in which you can insert the pill. Depending on the size of the pill, use scissors to cut the tube slightly and make a hole just big enough to allow you to push the pill into the heart ventricle.
