Panacur Worming Granules for Dogs
Panacur Granules is an oral anthelmintic for dogs and puppies. It treats and prevents hookworms, tapeworms, roundworms and whipworms. The broad-spectrum treatment eliminates intestinal worms as well as respiratory tract infections. Panacur Granules comes in the sachet form. It contains Fenbendazole as an active ingredient. The ingredient obstructs energy from the parasites and results into abolishment of gastrointestinal and respiratory tract infections.
Directions
- Measure the bodyweight of the dog and then administer one or combination of the sachets according to the body weight.
- Mix the granules with food to administer it.
- Administer 100 mg Fenbendazole per 2.2 lbs. bodyweight as a single dose.
- Recommended dosage for routine treatment of adult pets for minimal exposure to infection is 2 to 4 times in a year.
- This treatment can currently be availed in the pack size of 3 sachets: 1 gram, 1.8 grams and 4.5 grams of granules.
- Dosage Recommendations:
- 1 g sachet/dose treats 2kg (4.4 lbs.) bodyweight as a single dose (1.1 – 2.2 kg.)
- 1.8 g sachet/dose treats 4kg (8.8 lbs.) bodyweight as a single dose (2.2 – 4.4 kg.)
- 4.5 g sachet/dose treats 10kg (22 lbs.) bodyweight as a single dose (5 – 10 kg.)
