Information
Profender Topical Solution (emodepside/praziquantel) for Cats
Profender for Cats is a broad-spectrum topical deworming solution designed to treat and control common intestinal worms in cats. It helps eliminate tapeworms, roundworms, and hookworms, supporting your cat’s overall health and comfort. Even indoor cats can be exposed to intestinal parasites, making routine deworming an important part of their care.
This easy-to-use topical treatment is applied directly to the skin, offering a convenient alternative to oral tablets. Once applied, the active ingredients are absorbed through the skin and reach the intestinal tract, where they work to remove worms effectively.
Suitable for cats and kittens 8 weeks of age and older, weighing at least 2.2 lbs.
Coverage
Profender for Cats helps treat and control:
- Tapeworms
- Roundworms (including immature stages)
- Hookworms (including immature stages)
How it Works
Profender contains two active ingredients—emodepside and praziquantel—that work together to target intestinal parasites.
After application, the solution is absorbed through the skin and transported to the intestinal tract. Emodepside helps eliminate roundworms and hookworms, including immature stages, while praziquantel works to remove tapeworms. Together, they provide effective, broad-spectrum worm control.
