Vectra for Cats
Vectra is a powerful topical treatment for cats. It eliminates and kills fleas in cats and kittens over 8 weeks of age and above. The treatment is made up of advanced flea formula that eliminates adult fleas and controls the development of all the stages of fleas including flea eggs and flea larvae. This non-greasy solution destroys all fleas including those fleas that transmit diseases such as Bartonellosis, tapeworm and tularemia. The monthly treatment eliminates fleas that could cause flea allergy dermatitis and anemia. Vectra contains a patented applicator which minimizes the risk of skin abrasions.
How it Works
Vectra felis contains two active ingredients called Dinotefuran and Pyriproxyfen that aides in eliminating fleas. When the topical solution is applied, it spreads to all over the cat’s body and starts disrupting the fleas. Vectra, a quick-acting formula controls the improvement of all stages of fleas and eliminates all fleas within 6 hours.
Directions
- Remove applicator tube from the package.
- Make the cat stand in an upright position.
- Hold the tube upright and point away from the face.
- Place the thumb and index finger around the applicator tip under the large disk.
- Use the other hand to get hold of the applicator stem above the smaller disk.
- Press the smaller disk down firmly until both disks meet, piercing the seal.
- Part fur and apply the solution on the skin.
- Repeat every month or follow your vet’s instructions.
