These compact-sized tablets can be given directly or dissolved in water, making dosage administration convenient. The oral treatment is effective against the tissue larval stage of heartworm and prevents heartworm disease for up to a month.

The potent component works on the tissue larval stage and eliminates them before they develop into adult heartworms. Nuheart tablets effectively prevent heartworm disease for 30 days.
Directions
How to Use
- Ensure your dog has been tested for heartworm infection before starting.
- Administer one chew orally once every month.
- Give on the same date each month for consistency.
- Can be given with or without food.
- Ensure your dog consumes the full chew.
- The chew can be broken into smaller pieces if needed.
- If a dose is missed and more than 30 days have passed, give immediately and resume the monthly schedule.
- Continue use year-round for ongoing protection.
